Antique grade floors use black putty to high light open knots and include mineral streaks and wide color variation for a casual, rustic look, reminiscent of floors found in our your Grandma’s house years ago.

Smokey Mountain Hardwoods™ Cherokee Strip is produced from mature Appalachian Red and White Oak. Each strip is aged, square-edge milled and coated with seven layers of UV cured polyurethane to insure years of lasting beauty, durability and easy maintenance.

Care and maintenance of Cherokee Strip:

Polyurethane finishes are extremely durable and easy to maintain. Just follow these helpful hints.
Sweep, vacuum or dust mop regularly
Wipe up spills immediately.
Never use abrasive cleaning agents.
Spot clean with a damp cloth, excessive water could cause your floor to swell.
Use area rugs at entryways and in other heavy traffic areas.
Use approved polyurethane cleaners.
Never wax your floor.
Always use felt pads under furniture legs.
To prevent scratching always pick up furniture.
Should you scratch your floor, touch-up kits are available.
